Four systems, and what they had to survive.

The constraint

Screening decisions inside a bank are not support tickets — a missed sanctions match is a regulatory event. The platform had to check every counterparty against sanctions lists, politically exposed persons, criminal records and adverse media, and prove afterwards exactly what it checked and when.

What we built

A screening platform Hawker takes to the banking sector: transaction monitoring, PEP and sanctions screening, adverse-media and criminal checks, with a complete audit trail behind every decision. Built to run inside institutions that are examined, not just audited.

Where it stands

Live across scheduled banks since 2025, reaching 40+ banks and 5+ non-bank financial institutions through Hawker. The discipline it demanded — access control, audit logging, data handling — is now the default on everything else we build.

The constraint

A student enquiry can take a year to become a visa decision, passing through counsellors, document collection, university applications and embassy timelines. Spreadsheets lose those threads — and a lost thread is a lost student, plus the commission attached to them.

What we built

Study CRM: every enquiry tracked from first contact to visa decision, with documents, university partners and commission tracking attached to the student rather than to whoever happened to answer the phone. Counsellors see what is owed, what is missing and what is overdue.

Where it stands

Deployed for Globex Education in Dhanmondi, alongside the online business development work that fills the enquiry pipeline in the first place. Globex is part of a wider Study CRM rollout reaching six countries through 2026.

The constraint

A digital publication has to file against the news cycle, not against a deployment window. Editors publish continuously, the print-style edition has to be ready on schedule, and the advertising that pays for both has to be bookable without a developer in the loop.

What we built

Three connected systems: a news portal for continuous publishing, an e-paper platform for the page-faithful edition, and an advertising panel the commercial team runs themselves — so editorial and revenue operate on the same publishing stack.

Entered build in 2024 as part of our move into media and publishing systems, and remains the reference for the newsroom work we take on.

The constraint

Rapid PR is Bangladesh’s leading media archiving company, and its clients include Bangladesh Police Special Branch and Police Headquarters. Broadcast runs continuously; the archive has to be searchable by who was named and what was said, not merely by channel and timestamp. Manual logging cannot keep pace with that, and an archive nobody can search is not an archive.

What we built

We act as Rapid PR’s technical implementation partner. The TV archiving platform records broadcast continuously and processes it automatically: clipping segments, recognising named entities, transcribing speech and generating captions — so a search returns the moment, not the tape.

In service through Rapid PR, including for Bangladesh Police Special Branch and Police Headquarters. Rapid PR owns the client relationships and the archiving expertise; we own the engineering behind the platform.
